Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

You will be dropped off at your hotel from your station.
 

Day 2: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg the meadows of flowers 2730 mtrs above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in 2 hours it has delightfull ski slopes and the highest 18 hole golf course of the world. If wheather permits,you can also have view of Nanga Parbat. The view enrote from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is magnificent. Evening back to Srinagar overnight stay in hotel
 

Day 3: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to sonmarg the total distance of 80 kms will be covered in 3 hours. Sonamarg is also the takeoff station for the drive to ladakh across the Zojila, a major pass in the great himalayan range, sonmarg is known as gateway of ladakh. In the evening return to srinagar overnight stay in hotel.
 

Day 4: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the valley of shepherds .Drive through saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins of a 1100 years old lord Vishnu built of king Awantiwareman. Drive through the pine forest and along lidder river. The total distance of 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hours .Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian film industry. In the evening return to Srinagar
 

Day 5: Srinagar - Dhudpathri - houseboat

Doodhpathri, the "Valley of Milk" in Budgam, is a pristine, less-crowded alternative to Gulmarg, located ~42 km (1-1.5 hours) from Srinagar. Ideal for a day trip, it features vast green meadows (Meadow of Flowers), the Shaliganga River, and pony rides to snow-capped peaks. *NEARBY ATTRACTIONS* Yusmarg, Nilnag lake , sang-e- safed Return back to houseboat in dal lake
 

Day 6: Srinagar local sightseeing & drop your station

Local Sightseeing of Famous Mughal Gardens, tulip garden, Nishat Bagh also known as the garden of Pleasure is a ten terraced garden sprawled along the eastern side of the Dal Lake, with the towering Zabarwan hills as its backdrop. Build in 1634, designed by Asif Khan during the region of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Shalimar Bagh is considered to be the finest Mughal -style hill garden and was made by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife, Nur-jahan. The Shalimar Bagh was built as the summer residence of the Mughals. The water canals and fountains cover a major area of the garden and the gurgling sound of soothing water canals.
